Lelan Highlands
Lelean Highlands Dairy Limited (LHDL) was established in November 20th, 2008 as a conglomeration of 19 cooperatives in the region with a total membership of 4,000 farmers.
On January 22nd 2009, LHDL signed agreements to partner with EADD to establish a milk chilling plant in the Lelan community. The plant recently began bulking and chilling operations on August 22nd, 2009 and collected 2,800 Kgs of milk on the first day.
