The East Africa Dairy Development Project (EADD) is a regional industry development program implemented by Heifer International and a consortium of partners. The project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as part of an agricultural development grant designed to boost the yields and incomes of millions of small farmers in Africa and other parts of the developing world so they can lift themselves and their families out of hunger and poverty.
TechnoServe helps entrepreneurial men and women in poor rural areas of the developing world to build businesses that create income, opportunity and economic growth for their families, their communities and their countries.
Swisscontact
Swisscontact, the Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation, is a non-profit organization with a goal of promoting sustainable private sector development. Improving access to financial services is one way in which Swisscontact seeks to enhance economic opportunities for those living in poverty. |
